Mental Health and Family

DATE: Thursday, September 16th, 2021
TIME: 7pm

Every quarter, NAMI Metro Baltimore hosts Mental Health Forums to raise awareness and start conversations about mental health in the Baltimore Community.

Please join us for a virtual mental health forum being offered in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and MedStar Harbor Hospital. This will be an opportunity to learn more about common mental illnesses, how they affect individuals and their families, and resources available to support.

Esteemed speakers will include:
Dr. Jemima Kankam, MD, DLFAPA, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and the medical director for Outpatient Behavioral Services at MedStar Harbor Hospital. Her area of expertise is accuracy in diagnoses and treatments of depressive disorders.

James Schmidt, a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical, employed as a psychotherapist at MedStar Harbor Hospital.

This will be a free Zoom webinar with a live question and answer segment, so please register to hold your space. Come with questions, and leave with insight!
