The Baltimore Union SC Fall Development Academy is the perfect introduction to soccer for our youngest players!

Designed for boys and girls born between 2017–2021, the Academy emphasizes fun, learning, and the fundamentals of the game.

Players will develop confidence with the ball at their feet, improve coordination, and most importantly: discover a love for soccer.

Each session is led by licensed Union coaches in a positive and engaging environment, using age-appropriate activities and games.

What to Expect over the 5 Session Academy:

• Players will be introduced to soccer basics: dribbling, stopping the ball, and using different parts of the feet, through fun games and activities.
• Emphasis on 1:1, Player to Ball ratio.
• Focus on keeping the ball close, moving with speed, and learning simple turns to change direction.
• Introduction to passing and receiving the ball, working with teammates, and learning to share the ball in small activities.
• Encouraging/Celebrating creativity in dribbling/passing/shooting.  Learning how to strike the ball, aim for targets, and score goals, always a player favorite!
• Players will put their skills together in small-sided games, with an emphasis on fun, teamwork, and celebrating what they’ve learned.

This program is a great first step for new players, while also helping returning players continue to build their skills.
